Geely Boyue L

As a new driver looking for a car around 100,000 yuan, I compared Changan CS75PLUS, Haval H6, and Geely Boyue L, focusing on space, infotainment system, fuel consumption, and driving experience. The Boyue L has similar space to the CS75PLUS and an attractive orange interior. Its infotainment system is excellent, especially as a Meizu phone user, I trust the Flyme system a lot, which is a big plus. The official fuel consumption is around 6.9L, and my actual experience is also good without much difference. What I appreciate most is that it's the only one with a traditional gear shift design instead of a column shifter, and the crystal gear knob looks nice.

For my Geely Boyue L, the fuel consumption is around 7.6L/100km for mostly city driving, which is acceptable for an SUV. I'm satisfied with its power, linear brakes, and better driving experience compared to my family's H6. The interior氛围 lights at night are nice. The SUV's spacious cabin, including front and rear seats, panoramic sunroof, and large trunk, works well for my family, and no one gets motion sickness unlike in sedans. However, the paint is thin (easily chips to show primer), the infotainment system is average with intermittent 360° camera display when turning at low speeds. The delivery service at Xingtai 4S store was poor—no proper handover ceremony, just checking the car in the parking lot and driving off after a wash. Overall, with great value for money, stylish look, spaciousness, and good features, my family is quite satisfied.

I've had my driver's license for 10 years but rarely drove until I needed to commute 80km daily for work. With a budget under 150,000 RMB and safety as a priority, I compared the Chery Arrizo 8 Pro, Geely Xingrui, Volkswagen Golf, and Geely Boyue L. After test drives, the Boyue L stood out. Its 15.4-inch 2.5K screen and Dragon Eagle 1 chip deliver a smooth smart cockpit with quick, accurate voice control. As an SUV, it offers ample head/legroom, a flat rear floor, and a large trunk, more practical than sedans. The 1.5T engine balances power and fuel efficiency (WLTC 6.8L/100km). Though minor issues like thin paint and occasional water flow-like noises exist, I chose it for space and value.
