From the first glance, the JAC Refine M3 shows its practical side. With an over 5.1-meter length, short front end, and small A-pillar tilt, it looks very spacious. Inside, the space expectation is met: front seats are wide with extended cushions and slight raised ends for包裹感, higher than Wuling MPVs. The short engine compartment and irregular front side windows provide almost no blind spots in forward and downward views. The right high-position gear lever is handy, making me feel like driving a large vehicle. The interior uses搪塑 or fabric-wrapped panels without高级软 materials, but metal accents on the gear lever, air vents, AC knobs, and inner door handles enhance durability and prevent monotony. Function-wise, multimedia relies on USB phone connection, but there are many small storage designs around the shifter and door armrests, taking good care of riding aspects with space, soft seats. Dynamically, the steering is light with active return, not bulky like commercial vehicles. The throttle is responsive; though the 1.8L engine has modest horsepower, manual transmission ensures easy hill starts and linear acceleration with勤于 shifting and hard pedaling. Fuel economy is good: in a 133km test with 70% on urban outer ring/expressways, AC on, average speed 68.2km/h, average fuel consumption is about 8.2L/100km, close to the official 7.9L/100km for this 5.1-meter large vehicle.

Driving the JAC Refine M3 PLUS HEV, it feels surprisingly agile for its size (5145mm length, 1.9m width, 3.11m wheelbase), with no bulkiness. The steering is clear and precise, and the chassis is firm, avoiding the "big boat" sway of other MPVs. The throttle responds quickly, power delivery is direct, and acceleration is smooth like an electric car, with no lag compared to fuel MPVs. Multi-mode intervention is barely noticeable, and NVH is well-controlled, with engine noise, tire noise, and wind noise kept low enough for normal-volume conversations.

As a decent MPV, it offers passenger car features like a 10.25-inch floating LCD touchscreen with online Gaode navigation, music, and video, plus iFLYTEK's intelligent voice system, and independent seats.

With a maximum depth of 2870mm and 5.7m³ capacity, its boxy interior is versatile. For family trips, it can seat extended family; for long drives, folding the third row fits a stroller, luggage, and a kids' bike. For moving, the second row can flip forward and the third row can be side-hung, reducing trips.

The first impression of the JAC Refine M3 is a practical boxy MPV. The irregular front side windows reduce blind spots, improving outward visibility. Inside, the absence of a touchscreen simplifies operation, with multimedia relying on external sources. The high-positioned gear lever feels good, and the plastic steering wheel has appropriate damping. The left-side连体双座 design creates a large right corridor for easy rear access. Fabric seats are decent with soft padding and adjustments. The low chassis and soft suspension ensure comfort on paved roads. Cabin space is generous, with over a fist of headroom front and rear for a 177cm person, and up to an arm's legroom in the second row. It handles bumps well on normal roads, but has slight rear roll in high-speed corners, especially with non-independent seats lacking lateral support. Gentle braking before corners keeps the rear stable, depending on driving habits.
