Review A

My Chery Tiggo 7 has a "baby Land Rover" look with a square design, sunroof, roof rails, and I chose Glacier Silver for a younger vibe. The interior features black leatherette seats (only driver's seat is electrically adjustable with limited angles), a 10.25-inch instrument screen and 13.2-inch floating central control screen (lacks physical buttons), and a nice leather steering wheel. Space is generous for a compact SUV – I (1.7m) can cross my legs in the back, and the middle floor hump is small. It has L2 assist, ambient lights, and 8 Sony speakers with clear vocals but weak bass. The OTA is frustrating as the built-in高德 (Gaode) navigation is outdated, missing traffic light countdown, lane-level guidance, and voice packages like Xiaotuantuan. Powered by a 1.6T Getrag wet dual-clutch with 197hp, it overtakes easily on national roads;起步 is slower than EVs but fine at traffic lights, with no shifting顿挫 after the first service. Current average fuel consumption is 6.3L/100km over 1700km (5.8L for a 33km city-highway mix), better than the official 6.98L/100km (note: these are dashboard figures, actual consumption to be tested later).

Review B

After switching from a manual Changan Eado, I chose the Chery Tiggo 7 over the Changan CS55 Plus and Haval H6 for its configuration and price. The side profile looks great, but the rear is ugly. The 18-inch Chaoyang tires and wheels are stylish. The independent suspension handles rough roads okay but is very bumpy over speed bumps. The matrix LED headlights have large blind spots when turning. The door and tailgate design leads to dust entering the gaps easily. The 1.5T CVT powertrain provides sufficient power; even on a 40-degree mountain slope, it offers a pushing sensation in sport mode. Despite the 4.5m length, the rear seating space is spacious enough for 4 people, and the trunk is basically够用. The faux leather seats look good but are freezing in winter. There's still a strong new car smell after half a month, especially after sun exposure, causing headaches. Fuel consumption is satisfactory: 5.7L/100km at 79km/h on the highway, 7.5L/100km in rural areas, and now 7.0L/100km at 62km/h on provincial roads. Issues include: no left front wheel liner with exposed wires, uneven front door seals (also seen on Tiggo 8), and the car navigation having sound but no map display (occurred 3 times).

Review C

I am satisfied with my Chery Tiggo 7. The space is large enough in both front and rear, though the trunk could be better if it can be放平. The seats are comfortable. The 1.6L engine performs great; even in Eco mode, the power is more than sufficient for overtaking, and the brakes respond quickly. The fuel consumption is around 7L/100km now, which is very satisfying. However, the suspension is a bit stiff, the infotainment screen is not very useful, and the sunroof can be opened but not closed with the key. I kind of regret not choosing the top trim which might have seat ventilation.
