GAC Trumpchi GS4

For the 2021 GAC Trumpchi GS4, the biggest highlight is the new "Zhen Tian Yi" front face design with a vertical waterfall grille, offering more choices alongside the original "Ling Yun Yi" horizontal grille. It adds two "Zong Xiang Ban" models, and for Zhilian Technology Edition and above, optional two-tone body and black-brown interior are available for lower trims. The interior features an X-shaped layout with leather/soft materials, and the automatic premium version uses suede. It has rich configurations like a large central control screen, car networking, keyless start, wireless charging, 360-degree panoramic image, panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise, lane departure warning, etc. With a 2680mm wheelbase, the interior space is good; a 180+cm person has enough head and leg room, and the rear floor is flat with three-level adjustable backrest. Power comes from a 1.5T four-cylinder engine (169 hp, 265N·m) mated to 6MT, 7DCT, or 6AT. The power output is timely without lag,偏向家用, but there's slight low-speed顿挫. The chassis uses MacPherson front and multi-link rear suspension, tuned for home use with good vibration filtering but less road feedback. It performs well in extreme bump tests (80km/h and 40km/h) and 10 consecutive braking tests (38-39m stop distance). The price is reduced to 89,800-139,800 yuan, but the automatic version starts at 113,800 yuan, relying on terminal discounts for sales.

I quite like the GAC Trumpchi GS4's appearance; it grows on you over time. The sub-top trim has rich features like a power tailgate, air purifier, and automatic AC, but the 360-degree camera is disappointingly blurry, especially at night—many customers were deterred by this downgrade from the 2021 model, which was clearer. The power handles city driving well, though there's occasional low-speed jerking, likely a common issue. No car is perfect; what suits you best matters.

My experience with the GAC Trumpchi GS4: After a long trip, the comprehensive fuel consumption is 6.4L/100km, and maintaining around 90km/h is the most fuel-efficient. There are no abnormal noises; low-speed shifting顿挫 is slight and acceptable. Automatic parking and adaptive cruise work well, though I prefer manual control in heavy traffic. The interior is nice with soft seats and wrapped materials, and I like the embedded central control screen. However, the gear lever should be updated to an electronic one, and the car key needs improvement. The 360-degree panoramic image is disappointingly blurry, especially at night.
