Review A

After driving my SAIC Motor Roewe RX5 MAX for 1,000 km across urban, highway and mountain roads, here's my feedback. Pros: Low noise levels even over 100 km/h on highways; stable handling and comfortable ride with smooth gear shifts, ideal for my motion-sickness-prone wife; rich features like auto hold, adaptive cruise control, 360° camera, wireless charging, and responsive in-car Gaudu Maps navigation; reliable after-sales service with a dedicated 4S shop group and 24/7 manufacturer support, plus lifetime warranty for first owners; strong safety performance with Level 2 ADAS, top crash test ratings, and a body made of over 70% high-strength steel. Cons: Average fuel consumption is around 10 L/100 km, hoping it improves after break-in; mobile app bug where parking location doesn't update when the car is in the basement; lack of manual shift mode for engine braking on long downhill mountain roads, relying solely on brakes which risks overheating during extended descents.

Review B

In heavy snow, we tested the SAIC Motor Roewe RX5 MAX. With all windows blocked, its 360° surround view and environmental perception system helped navigate obstacles and park safely. The AI-Pilot system, including ACC adaptive cruise control, successfully handled emergency braking at 100km/h and sudden cut-ins at 40km/h, ensuring safety. The Roewe RX5 MAX proves to be a smart choice with reliable intelligent driving assistance.

Review C

I've owned the SAIC Motor Roewe RX5 MAX for nearly a year. I like its younger and more dynamic exterior. The interior is average among domestic cars. The 150,000-yuan domestic SUV has basic configurations like panoramic image, but the main screen flickers sometimes when the panoramic image is on, and the reversing camera resolution is poor at night. The space is satisfying; with me (175cm) driving comfortably, my wife (165cm) can stretch her legs in the back. There's a slight jerk at low speeds, but it disappears when pressing the accelerator harder. The fuel consumption is about 7.3L/100km on the highway, 7.5L/100km in the city without traffic, and the comprehensive fuel consumption is 8.0L/100km after driving over 10,000km. The most unsatisfactory aspects are the loud wind and tire noise above 80km/h on the highway (needing to turn the music up to 15 to cover it), and the unsmart斑马 system which is not easy to use.
