FAW JILIN AUTOMÓVEL Senya R7

I bought the 2016 FAW JILIN AUTOMOBILE Senya R7 1.6L manual intelligent model in August 2016, and by January 2022, it had driven just over 70,000 kilometers. The appearance is average, the interior is better than joint-venture cars of the same price. The front and rear row space is okay, but the trunk space is relatively short. The driving experience is poor with weak power, slow acceleration, and insufficient high-speed stamina. The reliability is bad with many minor issues and 2 breakdowns on the road. Faults include unrepairable steering wheel jamming (after-sales service in Ganzhou is no longer available), self-paid repairs for burned computer board causing cylinder shortage and fuel pump damage after warranty, right rear shock absorber noise (fixed by replacement during warranty), automatic start-stop failure. Minor problems: center console noise, irregular issues with reverse image, screen, radar, sunroof button, and throttle pedal vibration at 2000 rpm. Recently, the engine fault light is on due to battery inconsistency and aging three-way catalyst. I would never choose this car again.

The interior of FAW JILIN AUTOMOBILE Senya R7 is not good-looking, personally a bit ugly. The large-screen navigation can't update automatically and needs screen replacement for updating, maybe mine doesn't support it. Power is good for its price range. First and second gears have high revs but low speed; from fourth and fifth gears, power is responsive in the later stage.

The FAW JILIN AUTOMOBILE Senya R7 has an attractive exterior, known as the "little Tiguan". Its Aisin 6AT automatic transmission is reliable, with precise handling. EBD, hill-start assist, rear parking radar and camera are very useful. However, the interior is rather poor, and the倒车影像 doesn't turn with the steering wheel. The price is moderate, ride experience is average, sales attitude is average, and driving feel is good.
