I bought the Dongfeng Haoji because I was impressed by its appearance at first sight, especially the Starry Grey color. The interior is much better than my friend's Lavida, colleague's Sylphy, and neighbor's CRV, with an embedded driver-oriented screen and comfortable seats. The 2825mm wheelbase and 1910mm width provide spacious seating, unlike the长安CS75P and奇瑞虎八脯肉 which looked big outside but had limited interior space. The infotainment system froze once in -29℃, but generally works fine. The intelligent pilot assist is great for highways. After nearly six months and 10,000 km, the driving experience is satisfying. The chassis is a bit stiff but better than wobbly ones. Noise is low at constant speed with full charge, but noticeable during acceleration or climbing when low on charge. The average fuel consumption is around 6.8L/100km, which is good compared to my previous car. Reliability is acceptable with minor issues like passenger暖风 not working once and trunk rattle, which was fixed. Overall, it meets my needs for space, power, and fuel efficiency within a 150,000 RMB budget.

I find the Dongfeng Haoji has a sleek, sporty exterior, though the rear design feels rushed. The interior uses quality materials with soft-touch surfaces on doors and the center console; the dual清晰 screens look great and the layout is user-friendly. However, the touch-sensitive AC and hazard controls are prone to accidental activation, and the piano black trim on the console and gear area, while stylish, shows dust easily and scratches readily (I bought a protective film for it). The plug-in hybrid setup meets my needs with no range anxiety, delivering a实测 5.5L/100km combined fuel consumption. Useful features include 360° camera, forward collision warning with automatic braking, adaptive cruise control (which is great on highways), and a strong regenerative braking system that I use to extend range and save brake pads. The lane-keeping assist is intrusive, so I keep it off. Voice recognition works okay, but I prefer Huawei HiCar for navigation and music as the built-in apps require subscriptions. The rear seats offer 10-way adjustment, are spacious with good lumbar support, ideal for long drives. I'm 170cm tall and have over 30cm of legroom and more than 10cm of headroom in the back (with front seats at their highest). While the trunk is a bit smaller due to the generous cabin space, it's sufficient for me. Performance is responsive, with quick acceleration for easy overtaking. I usually drive in smart mode, which balances power and efficiency. Despite its size, handling is nimble, with a tighter turning radius than some smaller SUVs like the Haval H6. Overall, it's a high-value vehicle that suits me well. My main gripe is the piano black trim showing dust and scratches easily.

As my first hybrid car, the Dongfeng Haoji requires an initial adaptation period. The default high regenerative braking mode may cause motion sickness for some, but switching to medium mode solves this. Its hybrid system switches reasonably between gas and electric power. For a nearly 1.8-ton vehicle driving in the city with air conditioning on全程, fuel efficiency is good. The power feels almost like an electric car, and NVH performance is decent even when the engine is running. The infotainment system has been optimized with faster operation, though the new UI takes time for old Dongfeng owners to adapt. Its appearance somewhat resembles Voyah. Though classified as compact, the interior space is almost midsize; even as a 200-pound person, I have two fists of legroom in the back, and the zero-gravity seats are comparable to Nissan's "sofa seats". The only drawback is the lackluster configuration: no seat ventilation or lumbar support, only half ambient lighting, and basic audio. However, fuel efficiency is the key. For city and congested roads, the hybrid is recommended; for highways or less traffic, the fuel version is an option. Overall, I'm satisfied with this 130,000-level hybrid system.
