Geely Coolray

The Geely Coolray has strong power when driving. My recent fuel consumption was 7.2, and I think it will decrease after a highway drive. The rear space is slightly wider than the Emgrand; for two people now and a family of three later, it's sufficient for me.

My Geely Coolray exudes a sporty vibe with carbon fiber-patterned front splitter, mirrors, a rear spoiler, and quad exhausts. Compared to Toyota (Fronlanda, Corolla, etc.) and Honda models (Vezel, Civic), it offers similar space and power at a more affordable price with better interior materials. Though lacking a rear center headrest, rear air vents, and trunk cover, these are acceptable given the price. Space suits my family (no one over 1.7m). New and unrun-in, it handles国道 overtaking swiftly with 8 gears. The lowest fuel consumption is 5.5L/100km, about 0.4 yuan/km. Its sound insulation is impressive—below 80km/h on country roads, engine noise is inaudible, feeling like a new energy vehicle, matching B-class car standards.

I've owned the 2023 Geely Coolray 1.5T Platinum for a year. I chose it as a small SUV because I'm used to driving compact cars. Pros: stylish look, strong power (stable at 150km/h on empty highways), auto-folding mirrors, useful infotainment with traffic light countdown and lane display, sufficient reversing aids. Cons: low-speed顿挫 (common with DCT, manageable with practice), small trunk, no rear air vents or remote control, dim halogen lights. Fuel consumption: ~6L/100km on highways (60-90km/h), ~8L in suburban traffic, average ~7L. 45L tank, ~550km real range. No major issues, minor glitches self-resolved. One low beam recently failed, going to 4S shop tomorrow. Slight bumper scratch.
