I am quite satisfied with my SAIC Maxus G70. The 2.0T+9AT powertrain with 234 horsepower delivers strong acceleration, especially in power mode. The Nappa leather seats have no new car smell, ideal for families with kids. The dual electric sliding doors make it easy for children and the elderly to get in and out. I like its electric vehicle-like appearance paired with an internal combustion engine. It features tri-zone air conditioning, double-layer soundproof glass, and a smooth triple-screen infotainment system. Safety is outstanding with dual five-star safety certifications and 80% high-strength steel. After nearly 10,000 km of driving, the average fuel consumption is around 10.6 L/100 km, acceptable considering Shanghai's traffic. The 65L fuel tank allows for approximately 600 km of range. The interior space is practical, with a spacious center console storage area, electrically adjustable second-row seats, and acceptable third-row legroom. The trunk, though a bit small, can fit a large camping cart and has extra storage space under the third-row seats. The suspension tuning is good, with no noticeable nose dive or lift during acceleration and braking, and the seats provide good support for long drives. However, there is room for improvement: the voice recognition is not very sensitive, the autonomous driving lane centering is inaccurate with no clear exit prompts, there is no advanced ADAS features like high-precision maps or automatic lane changing, the rear armrest storage box would be better as a refrigerator, the camera resolution is low resulting in blurry images, the second-row seats only have heating without ventilation, and the interior has some plastic feel.

Bewertung B

My review of the SAIC Maxus G70: Exterior looks modern like a new energy vehicle, appealing to young people but too unconventional for the older generation. Interior is satisfactory with a mix of plastic and leather, good for the price. Top trim meets family needs, though second-row seats lack ventilation and massage (massage isn't essential for family use). Spacious overall; the 4.9m length ensures comfortable seating and easy parking in old neighborhoods, but trunk space is sacrificed. Third-row seats don't fold flat, making storage inconvenient and unsightly. The 540° camera aids maneuvering, but ICA lane-keeping assist is poor, causing constant steering adjustments on highways like "snake driving"; better to use lane departure warning instead. AUTOHOLD is frustrating—requires throttle to release after braking, with delayed and jerky acceleration, wasting fuel and risking collisions when parking; better to turn it off. Overall, L2 assist feels more like "L1.5".

Bewertung C

I've owned the SAIC Maxus G70 for just a month. The black exterior looks stable, stylish, and is often mistaken for an electric vehicle, though it's actually a gasoline-powered car with a large fuel tank. The appearance resembles the GL8, and the body length suits my family trips. The interior, chosen by my spouse, is durable and easy to clean, though the top trim lacking door lights is a pity. The power from the 2.0T engine is sufficient for me, much better than my previous 1.5L naturally aspirated car. It runs on 92-octane fuel, which I initially wasn't used to but works fine. However, there's an annoying叽叽aking noise when turning, especially on the driver's side. I took it to the repair shop a week after picking it up, but they couldn't identify the cause. If any fellow owners have experienced this and found a solution, please share.
