My experience with the Geely Xingrui 1.5T: The 12-bar chrome grille and sporty kit with 18-inch wheels and red calipers look stylish, though the low chassis scrapes easily. Interior quality is impressive with soft materials, but it lacks ambient lighting, a glasses case, and SOS. The 2800mm wheelbase offers spacious rear seating—even for a 180cm/80kg person, there's ample head and legroom. The Flyme Auto system responds well to voice commands, but switching pages with multiple apps lags, and no CarPlay is inconvenient for iPhone users relying on Apple Maps.
Driving-wise, the 181hp 1.5T handles daily commutes: 50-80km/h acceleration is strong, brakes are responsive, and the chassis feels solid over speed bumps. However, low-speed gear shifts are jerky, and high-speed acceleration has delays. Fuel economy is 10-12L/100km in traffic vs. 6L on highways. Drawbacks include poor sound insulation (loud tire/wind noise above 80km/h), high city fuel consumption, and the default "Intelligent" driving mode that resets daily—annoying as I prefer "Comfort" for efficiency. For frequent highway driving or acceleration needs, upgrading to the 2.0T is better; others should accept the油耗 and consider soundproofing or tire upgrades.
