My dream car, the Lynk & Co 05, became a reality with the 2023 2WD HALO in gray. Its sleek rear end is captivating, though trunk space is compromised. The upgraded 8155 infotainment system and 05+-style grille are great, and minor configuration sacrifices don't matter. Compared to other same-priced models, its interior and power stand out. Driven 156km in Eco and Comfort modes, the AT gearbox shifts smoothly, even in Jinan's traffic. Overtaking is effortless with satisfying acceleration, a huge leap from my old 1.5L. Over 80km with an average speed of 36km/h, fuel consumption is 8.8L/100km, impressive for a congested elevated road. The 05 brings me immense joy.

My Lynk & Co 05 2023 model has minor exterior changes from 2022, like the grille and wheels, with a nice溜背 design. The interior of my 2023耀halo features yellow stitching and gray leather, looking harmonious without suede. City fuel consumption is around 10L/100km, highway about 8L/100km in Eco mode. At 1.8m and 67.5kg, rear legroom is ample after adjusting the front seat. The 8155 chip makes the infotainment system smooth, with free lifetime data (3GB 4G first month, then 3G with slight delay). L2 ADAS is relaxing on highways; stock tires have loud road noise. Three-finger screen transfer and HUD are useful. Sport mode offers strong, responsive power (higher fuel consumption), while Comfort or Eco modes are used in the city and Eco on highways. The chassis handles bumps well. I like its looks, power, and interior.

【Dissatisfied】1. Loud tire noise due to wide tires. 2. High fuel consumption: up to 12L/100km in urban areas. 3. Unattractive yet highly visible daytime running lights. 4. Often laggy infotainment system; hopes for Qualcomm 8155 chip in future redesigns.

【Driving Experience】The Lynk & Co 05’s 2.0T+8AT delivers strong power, easily overtaking regular cars in cities or on highways. Built on the CMA platform, it has precise steering and agile handling. Initial acceleration is brisk with sustained power, linear throttle, and responsive transmission. It offers multiple driving modes; even without Sport mode, power reserve is sufficient. Note: Torque is average below 2000rpm, requiring higher revs for full power.
