Geely Lynk & Co 01

I chose the Geely Lynk & Co 01 after test-driving, having compared it with the Haoying, Rongfang, and Xingyue L. I love its皓月白 (bright white) exterior that slightly changes color in sunlight, the raised front face which looks more imposing than traditional concave ones, and the stylish wheels. As a middle-aged person, this稳重 (stable) style suits me well. I'm 1.8 meters tall, and there's still two fists of space above my head in the driver's seat; the car is spacious enough, though I regret the lack of a passenger boss button. The Intelligent Hybrid powertrain offers satisfying acceleration like an electric car without range anxiety, and it feels stable even at 150 km/h on the highway. The three-speed DHT has slight shifts, but non-professionals can barely notice. It handles well around corners, and I often use the L2 ADAS on highways for lane keeping and adaptive cruise control. The 360° camera is helpful for avoiding collisions. City fuel consumption is about 5.2-5.5 L/100km, and highway is 5.8-6.0 L/100km at over 120 km/h, costing around 0.4-0.5 yuan per kilometer. The "东方既白" (Dongfang Jibai) interior hasn't gotten dirty in nearly two years of use without cleaning. The transparent sun visor is practical, the sound system is great with QQ Music lossless audio and Galaxy Sound's differential surround. Seat ventilation and heating are standard. My main complaints are that the passenger screen turns off automatically to save power, the ambient light is too dim, the parking sensors only beep without triggering the 360° camera, and the seat ventilation has low airflow.

I'm most satisfied with the Geely Lynk & Co 01's外观和内饰, especially the infotainment screen that looks better with a nice wallpaper. The 360° panoramic camera accurately shows distances to obstacles. Safety features like lane change alerts and rear approaching vehicle door lock are good. The brakes and throttle are responsive with no lag. Steering is linear and adjustable, and I prefer the heavy setting for a better feel. However, the suspension is stiff, causing noticeable晃动 on rough rural roads. Issues include the need to adjust headlight height from factory settings, low windshield washer spray requiring manual adjustment, dim ambient lights only visible in total darkness, and an inaccurate fuel gauge with significant range display errors, which is disappointing as my friend's new LaCrosse and Smart Hybrid Xingyue have only a 1L difference in indicated fuel consumption.

For my Geely Lynk & Co 01, I'm very satisfied with the space, which is nearly as good as the Tiguan L except for a slightly smaller trunk though with more height. The black suede interior is comfortable with great seat support and length, and the adjustable rear seats deserve a 10/10. After 1,700 km, the power in smart mode delivers well on highways, but there's some起步延迟; smoothness is good with no jerking except during起步. Handling is decent, and the brakes work fine for me, contrary to some reviewers. Fuel consumption is around 5L/100km at 100km/h on highways, 8L/100km at speed limits, and 10L/100km in the city, which is normal for a 2.0L engine needing 95 octane. My main complaints are: voice control sometimes fails to turn off the front passenger entertainment screen at night, limited physical buttons, an undersized fuel tank, and dim headlights (high beams are too weak, low beams don't reach far). Overall, it's worth the price, but I hope the manufacturer avoids frequent updates like new energy vehicles to prevent disappointing old owners or increasing costs.
