The 1.5T+CVT powertrain delivers moderate acceleration, smooth shifting, and sufficient power even when fully loaded. The steering is light, the ride is comfortable over speed bumps, but noise insulation is average with noticeable engine and tire noise. Overall, with a price under 100,000 yuan, it offers good value and strong family-oriented features for the money.

The SAIC-GM-Wuling Jiachen shares the same design language as the Xingchen but looks more refined with subtle changes. Its configuration is rich for同级同价位 MPVs, though the responsive Ling OS infotainment system with multiple functions is only available on top two trims. The 1.5T engine delivers sufficient power with smooth shifting, even when fully loaded. The dual-tone interior is stylish and premium. All three rows of seats are very comfortable with perforated diamond patterns, but lack heating and ventilation. Handling is good for a family MPV, with minimal steering play and less electronic feel. Space is good in its class, comfortably accommodating a 180cm-tall adult in the third row, and the stepped seating ensures excellent visibility.

【Most Satisfied】Though the SAIC-GM-Wuling Jiachen has a torsion beam non-independent rear suspension, its chassis tuning excels in shock absorption—balanced softness and hardness, effectively filtering small road imperfections at low speeds and handling large potholes cleanly at high speeds without多余 body晃动. The LingOS infotainment system is highly user-friendly with accurate voice recognition, fast response, intuitive interface, and easy logic. Physical AC buttons enable convenient blind operation.

【Least Satisfied】The only issue is the "optimistic" fuel consumption gauge that doesn’t count idle fuel. Our actual test in Beijing’s morning rush hour with AC on showed 7.5L/100km, which is fuel-efficient for an MPV—hoping the manufacturer shows more confidence.

【Driving Experience】The 147hp 1.5T engine (LJ0) delivers timely low-end torque and quick CVT response, with well-matched power. Soft, light accelerator and brake pedals suit MPV needs. Steering is slightly heavy with mediocre feedback.

【Riding Experience】Excellent ride quality with refined chassis shock absorption and top-tier NVH for its class. Seats offer moderate padding, exceptional thigh support, and长途 comfort.
