I've driven the SAIC Motor MG7 for over 4,000 kilometers. The main drawbacks are that the car drifts right without steering input, there's occasional acceptable jerking, and once the trunk wouldn't close, which I forced shut. However, its stylish design is what I love most, making me check it out every time I get off. The 1.5T 188-horsepower engine meets daily needs, though 2.0T is better for power seekers. Fuel consumption is around 7.7L/100km for mixed city, mountain and occasional highway driving. Space is sufficient for my family, with comfortable front and rear seats, but the trunk is a bit small, understandable due to the fastback design. Noise control is good below 70km/h, but tire noise becomes noticeable above 80km/h even with quiet tires. Overall, the MG7 is worth buying; I got it for its looks, and it's great to own a car I love when young.
