The ZXAUTO Zhongxing 1949's exterior heavily borrows from Dodge pickups. It uses Nissan-Renault's M9T diesel and Great Wall's 2.0T gasoline engines, but only the gasoline version has an automatic transmission while the diesel is manual. Though claimed as China's first full-size pickup, it only exceeds 2 meters in width with a much shorter length than a true full-size. Zhongxing's tuning capability has declined recently, with frequent minor issues and poor consumer feedback. As a second-tier brand, it previously relied on low prices to attract budget-conscious buyers.
