My real-world fuel consumption is 7.2L/100km over 150km (35km/h avg, city and highway), which isn't too high. Noise levels are decent: 40.4dB at idle, 57.4dB at 60km/h, 61.1dB at 80km/h, and 67.4dB at 120km/h.

If you ask me about my test drive experience with the SAIC Motor Roewe i5 2021 1.5L CVT Xingyao Edition, I'd say it's all show but little go. The exterior looks stylish with unique double grilles and a sporty lower lip, but the build quality feels cheap. The interior has a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and the seats are surprisingly comfortable with仿皮 material and multiple adjustments, providing good support during the drive. However, the 1.5L engine is underpowered, with 0-100km/h acceleration taking over 12 seconds, making highway driving tedious. The braking performance is compromised by poor tire grip, with 100-0km/h stopping distances exceeding 42 meters. The infotainment system often glitches, and the small sunroof and plastic steering wheel are letdowns. While it's adequately spacious for small families and has a smooth CVT transmission, the Roewe i5 fails to deliver on the performance front, living up to its "all show" reputation.

Advantages of SAIC Motor Roewe i5: Its 1.5T model features a stylish sporty design with a blackened "U" - shaped grille and smoked taillights. The interior has a clear layered and简约 layout, with the center console divided by air vents and matte trim, and soft materials used. It offers good space: with a 174cm driver, there are 4 fingers of headroom in the front row, over 1 fist in the rear headroom, and more than 2 fists of rear legroom; the trunk can hold three 24 - inch suitcases, and the rear seats can be folded for extra space. The 1.5T + 7DCT powertrain provides ample power, ensuring brisk driving in the city and sufficient power for full loads, highways, and ramps. The torsion beam suspension offers a comfortable ride, handling small vibrations and bumps well on urban roads and controlling body摇摆 on rough roads. It has good fuel economy: 7.4L/100km combined, 6.7L on smooth national roads, 6.1L on highways, and 8.3L in urban congestion.
