Chery Jetour X90 PLUS

My Chery Jetour X90 PLUS has been used for 10 months and driven over 20,000 kilometers. The fuel consumption is 7-8L, costing about 0.7 yuan per kilometer. The interior space is large, and the exterior size is suitable for middle-aged business use but not for young people to modify. The vehicle performance is acceptable as a pure civilian代步 car, not for off-roading. There are no major problems, only a few minor ones. However, the central control screen is like two separate screens, with the right one having almost no functions, unable to download software, and very few songs available. The voice function can control windows, air conditioning and play songs, but only from the car's own software with limited songs. The "Follow Me Home" function was good initially but later stopped working, and the front radar only works when shifting to R gear. Overall, it is above average among new cars in the same price range.

My Chery Jetour X90 PLUS is less easy to drive than my Mondeo (which costs over 200,000 RMB). Its wind noise is louder than a sedan due to its large body and high wind resistance. The tire noise is acceptable; it was loud on rough roads but not worse than Mondeo's Michelin tires on good roads, and the overall sound insulation is good. The 1.6T engine has slightly weak low-end torque, feeling a bit sluggish at startup but a little jerky when pressing the accelerator deeper, which is sufficient for family use. The gearbox shifts smoothly without顿挫 or abnormal noise, but the first engagement of D or R gear is slow by a second or two, lacking responsiveness. The highway fuel consumption is relatively high: the dashboard shows 8 L/100km, but the actual is slightly higher, which may be due to the 255-wide tires, wind resistance, and strong headwind; city fuel consumption is similar to Mondeo. After破解 and installing apps like QQ Music, I卸载 them and restored the original system as the stock map, music, and Baidu Carlife are sufficient; the sound system is just okay with no elasticity. Overall, it offers high value for money; the highway fuel consumption is normal compared to similar-sized models like the Toyota Highlander which uses over 10 L/100km.

If I had to describe the Chery Jetour X90 PLUS in one word, it would be "practical". It has no obvious flaws and feels like a刚需 home. What satisfies me most are its spacious interior and great value for money. The space is among the largest in its class, especially the third row, and the second-row seats can recline extensively for a "Ge You躺" (relaxed lying) position. The price, considering the large space and lifetime warranty, is unbeatable. However, the driving质感 (texture) could be improved, with a somewhat loose chassis. The throttle and steering are lightly tuned for comfort, and the 1.6T engine meets daily needs but lacks power for acceleration. The ride comfort is excellent, with better rear and third-row space than competitors like the豪越 (Haoyue). Overall, it's a practical family vehicle.
