JAC Sihao X8 PLUS

There are too many online trolls... The JAC Sihao X8 PLUS is really a good car; hope it won't be trolled into disappearance. The price is cheap. The 1.5T engine is more than enough for me, and there's a pushing feeling when I step on the gas. I'm most satisfied with its appearance—beautiful lines, through-type light strip, and good materials. Fuel consumption: 8.5 in the city and 7.8 on the highway; for a midsize SUV, is this high? Driving experience: slight low-speed顿挫, but not obvious; power is sufficient when speed reaches 70-80, and it's stable on the highway. Auto hold works well. The infotainment system is good, but the only dissatisfaction is that it only offers 3GB of monthly data, which is a pity for those who often listen to music and use navigation. Sound quality is okay. I want to ask fellow car owners: there is an ambient light strip, but this car isn't configured with ambient light; how to activate and turn it on? Riding experience: as a midsize SUV, space is good, but it's not very wide. I always fold down the last row of the 7-seater, making the trunk space huge.

I've been driving the JAC Sihao X8 PLUS for four months and overall, it's good with high cost-effectiveness. The LED headlights, daytime running lights, and fog lights provide excellent night visibility, and the贯穿式 LED taillights are eye-catching. The brown interior is dirt-resistant. The seven-seat layout is more practical and better-looking than the six-seat version. The throttle responds promptly, and fuel consumption is acceptable for such a large vehicle, even in normal mode.

I bought the JAC Sihao X8 PLUS in November 22nd, 2022. It broke down at a gas station on December 23rd, 2023, with only 8,000 km driven and one month after the first maintenance. The transmission assembly failed, and I couldn't shift to neutral as the front wheels locked. The 4S shop sent a tow truck after 2.5 hours. As of January 16th, 2024, it has been 25 days since the car was towed, and they still haven't fixed it, keep saying they are waiting for parts. They don't provide a replacement car, causing great inconvenience to my wife who stays home with the child.
