My review of the Changan CS95: Its exterior is imposing with a butterfly-wing front grille, horizontal chrome strips, square lines, and a sporty贯穿式尾灯. The interior features a wrap-around layout, soft materials, faux leather, and a dual-screen design for a premium feel. With a 2810mm wheelbase, space is practical—my 175cm height leaves over a fist of leg and head room in the second row, and nearly 4 fingers of leg room plus a fist of head room in the third row. Powered by a 233Ps Blue Whale 2.0T engine and 6AT transmission, it delivers smooth, linear power, though parking can feel cumbersome due to its size. Drawbacks include a small trunk with all seats occupied, noticeable body roll in fast corners, imprecise steering, high urban fuel consumption around 12L/100km, and uncomfortable, thin third-row seats. However, maintenance costs are low with 6-year/12-time free basic保养, and other parts like air filters (180 yuan at 15,000km) and spark plugs (300 yuan at 30,000km) are affordable. For a mid-size 7-seat SUV in this price range, the CS95 is recommended despite common large SUV issues like handling and fuel efficiency.
