For the Chery Tiggo 3x, the drawbacks include no spare tire, no roof rack, high fuel consumption, slow transmission response, no multifunctional buttons, slight door noise, average noise insulation (especially above 130 km/h), air leakage from the front driver's footwell, and no automatic handbrake. The advantages are tire pressure monitoring, automatic and manual transmission, sunken trunk, Android car system, and front and rear disc brakes.

This is my first car. Initially considering a Mercedes for prestige, I chose the Chery Tiggo 3x instead, paying in full for financial security. My girlfriend and I loved its cute look at first sight. The 4S sales were straightforward and offered a good price.

After three months and 3,780 km (1,200 km highway), the Tiggo 3x performs well for its price. It’s stable at 120 km/h on highways but drifts slightly at 140 km/h. The suspension is stiff, with average rear comfort but solid cornering support. Sport mode delivers responsive initial acceleration, though the 1.5L+CVT setup lacks strong high-speed power. I avoid起步顿挫 by idling for 2 seconds after warming up. Engine noise is low (hardly heard at 50 km/h), but cabin隔音 is average (e.g., small stones hitting wheel liners).

At 173cm, I have 1.5拳 of rear legroom, better than some 4m-long SUVs. It’s fuel-efficient at 100 km/h (2,000 rpm) with 5.5 L/100km, but winter urban driving in -20°C+ pushes油耗 to ~8 L/100km, especially with frequent cold starts. The ESP is excellent—critical for avoiding skids on icy Harbin roads (-30°C+).

Drawbacks include interior做工瑕疵 (scratches on panels, rubber strips) and a stuck seatbelt, which 4S fixed by stretching. The infotainment starts with unclosable radio—hoping for a software update.

Overall, it’s a great budget car (~70,000 RMB) for刚需, starters, or new drivers. No car is perfect, even reputed brands have flaws.

I own a Chery Tiggo 3x. As a 163cm, 70kg person, the interior space suits me. My 180cm driving instructor felt okay in the front passenger seat but not very comfortable when driving. The rear seats are comfortable for friends. The trunk can hold a 60L organizer, mineral water, glass water, wine, watermelons, and walnuts, meeting daily needs. The steering is light, tire noise is normal, and the chassis is firmer but better than some competitors. The 1.5L engine provides sufficient power in Eco mode, though overtaking may require flooring it. The CVT gearbox has no obvious顿挫. The brakes are soft, needing early预判. The infotainment system connects to CarPlay smoothly. The sound system is good, and the configurations are generous compared to some 100,000+ RMB Volkswagen and Japanese models. Drawbacks include a slightly hard chassis making consecutive speed bumps uncomfortable, soft brakes, and slow voice response.
