FAW Bestune Pentium B70

I am satisfied with the FAW Bestune Pentium B70 overall. The exterior is flawless, especially the sleek fastback design, though the front and rear could be better. The 4.8-meter length offers a spacious interior; the掀背式电动尾门 is convenient, and even at 1.8m, I can stretch my legs in the back. The wet dual-clutch gearbox performs adequately but has noticeable顿挫 at low speeds and起步. Fuel consumption is 7-8L/100km in daily commutes without AC and 9-11L with AC, which is not low. The ride experience has some issues: no seat ventilation, weak AC cooling, frequent minor problems like rattles on bumpy roads, and occasional car machine malfunctions (screen freeze, 360 camera glitch, window control failure), though they all resolved automatically. The infotainment system isn't great—25th Comfort Edition lacks CarPlay, so I use an E-Link adapter.

I bought the 4th generation FAW Bestune Pentium B70 in 2024 and have driven 5,140 km. Fuel consumption is acceptable at around 0.6 CNY/km, with sufficient space and power. However, in Northeast China's cold weather, there is severe abnormal noise, especially from the front dashboard and rear seats, and the front shock absorbers made clunking sounds at -24°C. The engine shakes severely during cold starts and even after driving several kilometers; it only improves after restarting when the water temperature rises. It starts in second gear, and braking feels like stalling. The 4S shop couldn't find the issue, claiming it's normal. Overall, the price is okay, but driving experience is just average.

I started looking for a car in September 2025. After considering Accord and BYD Song PLUS DM-i, I chose FAW Bestune Pentium B70 in November because of its attractive appearance. The 1.5T engine provides responsive power with slight turbo lag. I've driven 300 km, mostly in traffic, with a fuel consumption of 10.6 L/100km. The transmission doesn't feel顿挫. The sales service in Tangshan was excellent. My most满意 part is the car's appearance, which excited my little brother a lot. So far, there have been no issues.
