I picked up my JAC SiHao A5 on January 12 and have driven 283 km by the 15th. The fuel consumption in the break-in period feels a bit high; I added 168 yuan worth of fuel and only got about 190 km (excluding the initial 13 km). This might be due to the hilly rural roads I've been driving on. I really like the car's exterior, especially the body lines and front face, but the rear end looks too high, though replacing the rear lip for a few hundred yuan should fix that. The noise is quite noticeable—engine vibrations are directly transmitted to the steering wheel, and wind noise increases at higher speeds, though tire noise is acceptable. The biggest letdown is the audio system; compared to my friend's Jetta, it only gets loud without any bass. However, for a car of its class with a 4.8-meter length, the space is more than adequate.
