I bought the 212 Off-Road Vehicle 212 T01 for its retro exterior and mechanical interior, which are perfect. The headroom is sufficient, but the length is compact. Fuel consumption is around 15L/100km in city, 10L on highway, and up to 19L in traffic. Acceleration is slow. Over 100km/h, it shakes due to solid axles, needing wheel balancing. However, its stiffness makes it durable in collisions. Off-road capability is excellent; even without a differential lock, low-range 4WD helps escape mud. It has optional electric seats, sunroof, seat heating and massage, plus app remote control for start, AC, windows and seat heating. I had been watching the 212 Off-Road Vehicle 212 T01 before its launch and initially blind-ordered the Mechanic version. Two months later, when the Changfeng variant was released, I switched to it. I finally picked up the car in April. The Changfeng 212 has great off-road performance and is also suitable for daily commuting, with a high rate of回头率. Its 2.0T engine delivers strong power, making overtaking easy. The handling is comfortable, and the 5-link suspension provides a ride comparable to a sedan, even on mountain roads. The interior is black, which is versatile and dirt-resistant. The overall space is good, though the rear door opening is small. The fuel consumption is around 12L/100km during daily driving (70-80km/h). However, the steering wheel was misaligned initially (a common issue), which was fixed at the shop. The price is reasonable but could be lower, and the 5,000 km maintenance interval is too short; 10,000 km would be better.

I'm quite satisfied with my 212 Off-Road Vehicle 212 T01 (Dark Sand Gray Explorer) bought in February. It has the highest颜值 among hard-core off-roaders. The interior layout is reasonable with clear physical buttons. Both front and rear seats comfortably accommodate 1.8m passengers, though the trunk is a bit small. It's equipped with practical features like rear lock, 360° camera, and power seats. The 2.0T+8AT powertrain works well for both city driving and off-roading. As a body-on-frame off-roader, its fuel consumption is slightly higher than regular cars, but I've achieved 8L/100km. It's reliable for off-road adventures. The price is low among hard-core off-roaders, with affordable parts and abundant aftermarket upgrades.
