The SAIC Motor Roewe RX5 has impressive space—with my 180cm height, there's about three fists of legroom and two fists of headroom in the back, comfortably fitting my family. The 1.5T high-power engine paired with 7-speed wet dual-clutch delivers smooth driving without low-speed jerking, and the ACC adaptive cruise makes highway drives轻松. Fuel consumption is acceptable: around 8.2L/100km on highways, 9.5L in cities, and 8.5L combined; I expect it to drop to 7.5L after the first service. However, the 27-inch infotainment system with 8155 chip lacks entertainment features, only supporting music and navigation. There's also a driver-side wind leak issue, which I suspect is due to flawed side mirror design despite replacing the weatherstripping. The rear seats are comfortable, but the suspension is on the stiff side, making speed bumps noticeable. Overall, it's a great自主品牌 car, and I'd rate it 90/100.

My SAIC Motor Roewe RX5 offers spacious interior with ample front and rear legroom, even for three adults in the back, and a trunk comparable to a sedan's. At 1.75m and 70kg, I have plenty of head and leg space in the driver's seat. The car handles well with responsive acceleration, adjustable steering feel, soft but adaptable brakes, smart auto lights, voice-controlled infotainment, and a 360° camera, making it easy to drive even for women. The audio system is excellent, and basic data is free. The 1780km combined fuel consumption is 8L/100km, with 8-9L in the city and 6L on the highway, which is satisfying. The only downside is wind noise around the front seats at over 80km/h, which other owners fixed at 4S shops; I hope the factory improves quality control to resolve this before delivery. The engine and transmission come with a lifetime warranty, which is reassuring.

I've wanted a car since this summer. Previously driving my brother's Geely Boyue, I shifted from sedans like Arrizo 8, Lavida, and Bora to domestic SUVs, attracted by the third-generation SAIC Motor Roewe RX5. The seats offer excellent support and wrapping, with an integrated headrest and bucket-seat-like design. The floating large screen, leather materials, crystal gear lever, and matte central tunnel are impressive, though the screen has thick black borders and the front passenger plastic may dull over time. At 172cm and 60kg, I have ample legroom in the back, and the trunk is spacious enough for three people's shoes with room to spare; folding seats allow for a flat sleeping space. The 1.5T turbo engine with wet dual-clutch transmission delivers good acceleration and a smooth ride, with lighter steering and improved chassis over the first-gen RX5 and Boyue. Fuel consumption is surprising: 370 yuan fills the tank, lasting about 720km with mixed highway and city driving (average speed 50-60km/h). Drawbacks include no glasses case, limited voice assistant intelligence (only navigation works well), and persistent rear seatbelt reminders even when occupied.
