Vehicle Model Profile: ZEEKR 9X
Vehicle Highlights
  1. Dual strengths in performance and range: Equipped with a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system and triple electric motors, it delivers a combined power output of 660 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, the fastest in its class. Built on 900V high-voltage architecture, it charges from 20% to 80% in only 9 minutes with ultra-fast charging. It offers a CLTC pure electric range of up to 380 km and a comprehensive cruising range of 1,250 km, eliminating range anxiety on long-distance trips.
  2. Spacious 6-seater layout + premium chassis: With body dimensions of 5239×2029×1819 mm and a wheelbase of 3169 mm, the 6-seat layout ensures ample space even with full occupancy. It comes standard with dual-chamber air suspension, CCD electromagnetic damping and a 48V active anti-roll bar, balancing urban ride comfort and off-road capability on rough roads.
  3. Full premium luxury configurations: Fitted with a 32-speaker Naim audio system, full-row seat ventilation/heating/massage functions, an in-car refrigerator, and a 17-inch ceiling-mounted OLED screen. It also features standard high-level L2 driving assistance and automatic parking, leading its segment in intelligence and luxury comfort.
Please Note
  1. Noticeable pure electric range drop in low temperatures In cold winter conditions, the actual pure electric range is only about 200 km, much lower than the official figure. The vehicle also has relatively high power consumption, resulting in an average daily commuting experience in severely cold regions when running on pure electric mode.
  2. Shortcomings in intelligent driving assistance The vehicle tends to drift right on wide curves, leaving insufficient safe distance from non-motor vehicles. The panoramic imaging system suffers from frame drops, and the infotainment system occasionally lags and responds sluggishly during operation.
  3. Large body size limits urban commuting flexibility With a length of over 5.2 meters, the bulky body makes it difficult to drive on narrow urban roads and park in old residential compounds, placing higher demands on driving skills.

Real User Reviews

To quantify the user experience of real car owners, we conducted a structured questionnaire survey of ZEEKR 9X owners at the highly influential DCAR Automotive Forum in 2025. A total of 166 valid responses were collected. Through qualitative analysis of the responses, we categorized them into 12 clear positive feedback dimensions, encompassing 111 specific statements, and 12 negative feedback dimensions, encompassing 55 specific statements (DCAR, 2025).

Positive Feedback

Strong Power Performance

Summary: The accelerator pedal delivers a solid and firm feel. Power output is smooth and linear in Comfort mode, while Sport mode offers sharp response with controllable pushback. When flooring the accelerator during driving, the motor features extremely high sensitivity. The vehicle accelerates fiercely in the mid-to-late speed range, still delivering aggressive thrust even above 80 km/h.
  1. "In terms of power performance, the accelerator pedal adopts an organ-style structure with a metal outer shell, presenting a solid and taut footfeel that meets the craftsmanship standards of luxury vehicles. In Comfort mode, power output is gentle with smooth starting; there is slight dead travel at the initial pedal stroke, and power is released linearly as the pedal is pressed further. Sport mode provides instant response — a light press brings noticeable acceleration, and a deep press delivers strong pushback. The overall power output remains linear and controllable without abrupt jerking, balancing driving pleasure and riding comfort perfectly."
  2. "During driving, flooring the accelerator instantly reveals the motor’s exceptional sensitivity. Power response is explosive, with sharp and decisive acceleration in the mid-to-late speed range. Even at speeds over 80 km/h, it still delivers an intense sense of thrust."

Excellent Overall Space

Summary: The space performance leads its class. It easily accommodates six passengers plus luggage. Even with the second row set at a normal seating position, the third row still offers practical and usable legroom.
  1. "The interior space is excellent. It can comfortably carry six adults together with luggage, ranking among the best SUVs in its segment. If you have higher space demands, the ZEEKR 009 is an even more extreme option."
  2. "Although the second-row space is not as generous as the ZEEKR 009, it is still outstanding. At a height of 179 cm, I can still sit comfortably in the third row with the second row adjusted to a normal seating posture, fully sufficient for daily use."

Negative Feedback

Poor Range Performance

Summary: Its main weakness is pure electric range in low-temperature conditions. The actual measured range is around 200 km, well below expectations, mainly caused by relatively high energy consumption. Overall experience is acceptable when switching to hybrid or engine mode.
  1. "The biggest drawback is pure electric range in cold weather. Under recent 0°C weather in Shanghai, the actual full-charge range is only about 200 km, far lower than expected. The overall experience is decent when running in hybrid or engine mode."
  2. "The main downside is high energy consumption, which results in weak pure electric range. Actual real-world range in Xinjiang is under 200 km, and low temperatures have a noticeable impact on battery endurance."

Imperfect Intelligent Driving Assistance

Summary: The intelligent driving system can be activated even outside standard lanes with high environmental perception accuracy. It can pass smoothly and slowly through complex traffic scenarios and has fixed the previous issue of failing to resume moving after stopping. However, it tends to drift toward the right on wide curves, leaving insufficient safe distance from non-motor vehicles on the right. In addition, the panoramic camera system suffers obvious frame drops, and the infotainment system occasionally lags and stutters during operation.
  1. "After setting a navigation route, intelligent driving assistance can be activated even outside formal lanes. The system features extremely high scanning precision and can simultaneously detect turn signals and brake lights from up to 20 surrounding vehicles. It can navigate safely and slowly through complex traffic with pedestrians, non-motor vehicles and road workers, fixing the former problem of stopping and refusing to move again. Nevertheless, on wide bends the vehicle drifts too close to non-motor vehicles on the right, creating potential safety risks."
  2. "The panoramic imaging system has noticeable frame drops during use, while the vehicle infotainment system lacks smooth response and suffers occasional lag and stuttering."
