Guerreiro BAIC

The BAIC Warrior is a good off-road vehicle with strong off-road capability, reliable quality and power. However, its craftsmanship is really poor. New car issues like clutch switch short circuit, faulty combination switch, messy floor mats blocking the accelerator, and uneven rear seat mats are common. But as a veteran and off-road enthusiast, I accept these minor problems because it meets my aesthetic and never fails during long trips, crossings and off-roading. Overall, it's a good car.

I am most satisfied with the BAIC Warrior's continued family-style square and tough exterior, featuring halogen headlights and optional roof racks and side steps. The interior has upgraded configurations including power windows, one-touch up/down for the driver, central locking, remote key, and added tire pressure monitoring. For driving experience, it still uses the 2.4T turbo engine with 155kW (211 hp) and 320Nm torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and part-time 4WD system. As a hardcore SUV, it has a 42° approach angle, 33° departure angle, 60° maximum climbing angle, and 600mm wading depth.

Disadvantages of BAIC Warrior: Poor sound insulation, with noticeable wind noise on highways, which is slightly reduced by audio. Soft brakes with obvious pad friction noise, and unsatisfactory emergency braking feel. Slightly cramped rear seats that can be folded flat for storage but lack recline adjustment, causing discomfort on long trips; driver's seat also lacks lumbar support, leading to fatigue over time. Thin engine hood feels underwhelming in material quality. Overall, for its price range, Warrior performs well as an SUV. It excels in power output, space utilization, with a霸气 exterior, easy handling, and high reliability, making it worth buying.
