I got my Changan Yida in late January, which was produced in late September (over 4 months old). I requested a battery replacement, but decided not to since the car worked fine. Fuel consumption was 8-9 L/100km initially, then dropped to 6 L/100km on rural roads and 5 L/100km on highways after 300 km. Total fuel cost was 425 yuan, with 700 km driven and 200 km remaining range. At 50-60 km/h, when coasting down to around 30 km/h, there's mild body晃动, which is acceptable. As an 183cm, 80+kg driver, I have a fist of knee room in the back and three fingers of headroom in the front when seated comfortably.

My Changan Yida review: The flat steering wheel takes getting used to, but the chassis is comfortable and seats are soft. Low-speed隔音 is surprisingly good (comparable to my old 2012 S60), but highway tire noise is noticeable. Over 14 days and 2,200 km (mixed terrain), fuel consumption is 7.2 L/100 km in normal mode, with accurate range display. Space is impressive—even a 198cm, 105kg passenger fits well in the back. Despite the unresponsive gearbox and highway tire noise, for 100,000 yuan, its large screen, comfortable space, and attractive design make it great. I rate it 8.5/10.

【Driving Experience】Well, it can't compare with BBA, of course. I test-drove Audi A4L and A3L before, and the difference was huge, but the price of Changan Yida is acceptable. The tire noise is quite loud and obvious. The power is sufficient; in normal mode, it moves when you step on the gas, more than enough for daily driving without racing. The steering wheel is really annoying and uncomfortable; it's not smooth when turning around and returning to center, and I really want to replace it. The central control screen is large; my girlfriend thinks it's tech-savvy, but I prefer traditional buttons. Also, the new car smell is a bit strong, and I'm still airing it out to remove formaldehyde.
