The JM Yuhu 7 retains a rugged off-road style while upgrading intelligently and moving towards passenger-oriented with rich configurations, meeting diverse needs like family use, commercial purposes, and off-roading, offering an alternative in fully解禁皮卡 cities. Its 2022 model features a more rugged yet refined front grille, standard automatic headlights, muscular wheel arches, and unique purple 17-inch wheels. Available in standard and long wheelbases, the latter suits cargo needs better with a larger bed. The interior boasts passenger-car-level materials, a 10.1-inch floating infotainment screen with online functions, voice control, and comfortable brown-white seats. The diesel version has a 2.0T PUMA engine (104kW/350N·m) mated to 6MT or 8AT, plus BorgWarner 4WD, while the gasoline variant uses Ford's 2.0T EcoBoost (162kW/350N·m), ideal for diesel-restricted areas.

After two months and over 8,000 km of driving the JM Yuhu 7, I'm satisfied with its fuel range (over 800 km per tank) and excellent loading capacity. The only drawback is that the long-wheelbase version bounces when driving empty, which is unavoidable and can only be mitigated by adding more weight. Overall, it's decent.

The 2022 JM Yuhu 7 has seen significant interior and exterior adjustments. The front face abandons the previous catfish mouth design, moving closer to the Ford撼路者 with a wide chrome grille, appearing more moderate and acceptable. The interior features a popular vertical central control screen, making it simpler and supporting voice control. The ZF 8AT electronic gear lever saves space, providing more storage in the central armrest area (though a wireless charging device would be better). The rear space is lengthened by a few centimeters with a more reclined seat back, enhancing long-distance ride comfort. The comprehensive fuel consumption is around 8-8.5. The Ford PUMA engine, though not high in power, matches well with the gearbox overall.
