JAC Refine RF8

I really like the JAC Refine RF8. Its exterior is elegant and tasteful, neither too flashy nor dull. The interior is mainstream and pleasant, with a great gear shift feel that I enjoy. It has high-end features like ventilated and heated front seats, comfortable second-row seats, and a power tailgate, though I wish it had steering wheel heating. The cabin space is spacious and comfortable, but the trunk is disappointingly small due to the spare tire. My main concern is the fuel consumption—after 2,300 km (mostly city driving), it still averages over 10L/100km, which is quite high. Hopefully, it will improve after the first service.

I bought the JAC Refine RF8 as a family MPV for my second-child household, prioritizing safety with features like front/rear anti-collision beams and airbags. The 2.0T engine with AT transmission delivers smooth acceleration and good power, averaging 10-11L/100km in the city and 9.2L/100km on the highway (full load with AC). While the exterior and interior are satisfactory, the third-row noise is annoyingly loud, and the infotainment system has issues with voice recognition and lack of memory settings (to be fixed via update). Its配置 (e.g., ventilated second-row seats) outperforms competitors under 200,000 RMB. Overall, the price and features are acceptable, and the after-sales service is excellent.

My family of four finds the 7-seat JAC Refine RF8 very comfortable. After test-driving, I passed Japanese/Korean models, and compared to Trumpchi and Buick, the RF8 offers a balanced performance. Its 8AT has no obvious顿挫, which I'm satisfied with as comfort is key. The space is just right for home use, with a comfortable and adjustable third row. The 2.0T engine provides sufficient power, and fuel consumption is low—economical on highways and around 8L in the city. However, the right armrest of the second row is单薄 with a safety hazard for kids, voice wake-up is sometimes unresponsive, and the 5.2m length makes handling difficult. I paid 220,000 yuan with many free maintenance services and exquisite floor mats. Domestic cars are really good now.
