The trunk is large, though the opening is smaller than an SUV's, and it can hold plenty for family camping trips. I get around 7 L/100km in the city and just 5 L/100km on the highway, which I'm very satisfied with. The car drives smoothly and steadily, even at high speeds, with a good and lightweight steering feel. However, the configuration is a downside; the "First Come First Served" version lacks a 360-degree camera, which can't compare to domestic cars with more features. Still, it has practical amenities like a digital instrument cluster, automatic headlights, power-adjustable seats, and seat heating, leaving room for improvement.

I agree that there's no best or worst car, only the right fit. As a working-class family, the Jetta VA7 is perfect for my budget. What I like most is getting what I need within my means: good looks, decent power, spacious interior, and a solid chassis. Brand influence and advanced tech aren't my priorities.

The exterior is appealing with LED headlights and chrome accents, giving a premium feel. The interior of the mid-trim model is nice, with leather seats that are supportive and long, and soft-touch materials on the dashboard. The 2.731m wheelbase provides ample rear legroom, and the 4.773m length ensures a large trunk, though the rear floor isn't completely flat.

Useful features include LED headlights, keyless entry, heated seats, and power-adjustable seats, though the reverse camera could be clearer, especially in low light. The car connects to my phone for music, but it requires an app.

NVH isn't a concern at this price. The EA211f engine with 150hp and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission delivers quick response, even a slight push in S mode. The chassis has anti-corrosion treatment and independent rear suspension, handling bumps and corners well. Throttle and brake are smooth, avoiding sudden jolts.
